I am going to start by showing you some wicker furniture I bought last summer. It has been sitting around on my patio waiting for me to figure out what I was going to do with it.
I started by power washing all the yuckiness off of it.
Then, I primed all of it. Underneath too.
Then, I took Krylon "Khaki" spray paint and painted them. Underneath too.
Here is what the finished product looks like. Pretty cool huh?
I added a cushion I bought at Walmart for $20.00. Yep, $20.00! I thought that was a pretty good deal considering what they want for cushions these days. Maybe next year I will try making my own. Did you know you can use shower curtains for the fabric on outdoor cushions? Pretty sweet, and inexpensive. I LOVE inexpensive.
So, to recap. Here is my before........
And, here is the after.
Thank you so much for stopping by.
Kelly
It is a bit late, but congrats on your first blogs posts! I’m skimming and scanning some of your write-ups, and I think you have a knack for the written word. Anyway, your wicker revamp looks wonderful! The color made it look classier and the red cushion added some spice to it! [Gerry Bossier]
